Gogglebox has confirmed five whole new families for the new season tonight after axing two fan favourites.
The Channel 4 Friday night staple is back for a new batch of episodes over the next few Friday nights, with some fresh faces among the confirmed returnees.
We’ve got: from Glasgow, best friends Jake and Calum; from Surrey, the Gordon family, Andre, Sarah and daughter Chee; and from The Cotswolds, husbands Andrew and Alfie.
There’s also: from Yorkshire, mother and daughter-in-law Sara and Lara; and from Edinburgh, sisters Rosie and Susie.
The line-up of returning Goggleboxers includes: Jenny and Lee, The Siddiquis, The Malones, Giles and Mary, Ellie and Izzi, David and Shirley, the Plummers, Amira and Amani, the Worthingtons, Pete and Sophie, Abbie and Georgia, Sue and Steve, Simon and Jane, Ronnie and Annie, Danielle and Daniella, Teresa and Anita and Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry.

Mike Cotton, the Creative Director for production company Studio Lambert, said: “It’s a delight to welcome some new households to the Gogglebox family.
“Along with our much loved returning cast, we can’t wait to join them in their living rooms and hear their candid thoughts on this weeks most talked about TV.”

Not returning for this season are couple Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle from Glasgow.
They announced: “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa Channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26. Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family.”
“Time to watch TV in silence for a bit and put down the popcorn,” they added.
