ITV fans were thrilled with the latest episode of The Chase after a powerhouse team put on a solid performance that ran circles around chaser Paul Sinha
The Chase fans have dubbed a powerhouse quiz team the “best team ever” after the latest episode saw the chaser hanging his head in his hands. Four new players, Stephen, Charlie, Janette and Davd all joined forces to take on quizmaster Paul “the Sinnerman” Sinha, in hopes of bagging a large cash prize. The first and only hiccup saw Explosive Trainee Dog Handler Charlie being booted out in her head-to-head despite an impressive cash builder.
The three remaining players all smashed their chas builder, bagging £21k between them and often leaving enough space on the board ahead of the the chaser to have easily won the eye-watering high offers. “This might be the best team I’ve ever seen on the chase. Simply amazing, finally some brains and real competition,” gushed one fan. Another penned: “What a team,”’ while a third added: “Recruit Stephen as a new Chaser!!”

One question about Beyonce saw Paul lay his head in his hands, while player David easily brought his £8k back to the table.
Paul shared: “that was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen at the table. From the speed of the answers to the difficulty level of the questions. They are very good. I’m in a bit of a pickle here.”
He also goaded them before the final chase, adding; “That’s a super team. They have brain but do they have bravery?”
Host Bradley Walsh added: “Playing well – what a team” The team put on an amazing performance in the final chase, answering 22 questions correctly between the three of them.
“Congratulations. One of the best performances ive ever seen. You deserve to win but I’m gunna try and stop you,” said Paul
Paul put on a valiant and nail-biting effort, and shockingly beat them with just two secodns left on the clock.
But he quickly gushed about their stellar performance. Brad said: “that was unbelievable. I don’t know what to say” as the studio fell silent.
“that was brutal but what a game,” added Paul.” despite their oss, fans dubbed it one fo the best episode of the show ever.
“Just saw the best episode of #TheChase. It also solidifies Paul as my favourite chaser,” gushed one fan.
Another echoed: “the most unbelievable #thechase episode i’ve seen”. Others offered their commiseratiosn to a worthy team.
“FFS! Great final chase tho tbf.” More chimed in: “Hard lines team … you deserved to win!!” and “Two seconds left! What a truly magnificent performance by both sides! I applaud them!”
