‘It’s Not As Glamorous As You Think’: Kelly Brook Finally Reveals The TRUTH About The I’m A Celeb Shower After Weeks Of WINE And CHOCOLATE Indulgence

MODEL Kelly Brook says the thought of the I’m A Celeb shower scene is “scary” – but she is going into camp armed with sexy bikinis.

The star, 45, also confessed she has been bingeing wine, roast dinners and chocolate before she gets put on a dull diet of rice and beans.

Speaking about the chance to have a famous shower scene like singer Myleene Klass in 2006, Kelly said: “It’s definitely an iconic moment isn’t it?

“It’s scary, but I have got lots of swimwear options.

“I will be packing some bikinis.”

The Sun on Sunday told how Kelly had packed ten bikinis to take with her to Australia ahead of the show’s launch.

Instead of getting in last-minute beauty treatments, Kelly spent her time stocking the freezer with luxury meals for her dog, cavapoo Teddy, to ensure he is well-fed while she is away.

The Heart Radio presenter laughed as she admitted she had done virtually no preparation for jungle life before jetting off to Oz – apart from cutting down on coffee and sugar.

She said: “I said I was going to go to the gym and do some big hikes. I haven’t done any of that.

“I have also been fattening myself up in the run-up as I’ve been having chocolate, roast dinners and a few glasses of wine.

“I also had a little wobble, but I realised that was more to do with the dog and what the dog was going to do whilst I was away.

“I will literally be arriving unprepared.

“But I did a month of Vegan January once and I was living on beans then.”

Kelly, who is married to model Jeremy Parisi, 40, revealed she is terrified of heights – and the vile eating challenges in the notorious Bushtucker trials.

She said: “The challenge I am most dreading is the eating trials.

“They are very difficult to watch and to try to get your head around.

“They do not look edible. In my mind, I have got to see it as good protein intake.”

She added: “I have also heard doing this programme can be life-changing, so that’s very exciting.

“A lot of people have said they have gone in and come out a different person.

“They’ve also said it changes your whole outlook on life and I hope to have an experience like that.

“I want to come out from something so mad, fun and brilliant and have a spiritual awakening.”

ITV tonight announced ten of the 12 celebs who will be competing in this year’s series – confirming The Sun’s exclusive line-up story from Saturday.

Kelly will appear alongside stars including former Lioness Alex Scott, ex-Spandau Ballet bassist and actor Martin Kemp, and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley.

Irish model Vogue Williams, 40, and Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson, 38, are expected to be late arrivals on the series, which starts on Sunday night.

Also going into camp is late rocker Ozzy Osbourne‘s son Jack, 40.
He has the backing of mum Sharon, 73, and sister Kelly, 41 – and says he is determined to make his family proud.

The father-of-four says it will be “difficult” to leave his family for the jungle just months after Black Sabbath legend Ozzy’s death.

Ozzy, who had a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease, died of a heart attack in July aged 76.

Jack said: “It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind.

“I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing.

“It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.

“It’s not the longest amount of time I’ve been away from them.

“I’ve gone on different trips filming (his adventure show) Adrenaline Junkie for nearly two months without a phone, but I still
had access to one and I was able to make calls home.

“It’s going to be very difficult not speaking to my wife and kids. But yes, I do hope I can make my family proud.”

‘GOING TO BE DIFFICULT’

Former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, said her campmates may need to tell her scary stories to get her to sleep – because she has a strange bedtime habit.

Shona, who played Whitney Dean in the BBC soap, said: “I wear headphones at night and I listen to serial killer documentaries.
“I don’t know what that says about me, but it helps me to sleep randomly.”

The Sun on Sunday revealed this month that Shona had split from her Irish guitarist fiancé David Bracken, 36, because they “wanted different things”.

Shona said David and her family were excited for her to enter the jungle, saying: “It will be the longest time my fiancé and I have been apart.”

Football Focus presenter Alex, 41, was pictured sharing a goodbye hug with her pop star girlfriend Jess Glynne at Heathrow Airport.

She said: “Jess thinks I am absolutely mental!

“But she will be my biggest supporter, and my mum absolutely loves the show.

“Thinking of her tuning in every night will bring a tear.

“But I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities.

“Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge.

“People see you on TV and they assume you are outgoing, that loud person but take me to red carpets or events and I am the one in the corner going, ‘Talk to me, please give me a plus one so I don’t have to be that person who walks in on my own’.

“It’s going to be a challenge.”

Other stars going on the show are presenter and comedian Ruby Wax, rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi and YouTuber Angryginge.

Angryginge, 23 – real name Morgan Burtwistle – landed in Brisbane today and is the early favourite with bookies William Hill at 5/2.
