The beloved Good Morning America host will return to ABC programming on March 9 for the return of The Pyramid.
“Michael’s ready – are you?” a post on Strahan’s Instagram said.
“New #100kPyramid kicks off in ONE WEEK!”
The Pyramid is a word-association game where contestants partner up with a celebrity and race to the winner’s circle.
Contestants only win the $100,000 prize if they make it to the winner’s circle.
The first episode will feature two celebrity matchups including Mark Duplass versus Pete Holmes and Laverne Cox versus Thomas Lennon.
Strahan is returning to The Pyramid amid uncertainty surrounding his broadcasting future.
Last month, reports surfaced from NewsNation that indicated Strahan could leave Good Morning America when his contract is up at the end of the Summer.
“He will be out by this summer — he’s had enough,” an insider told NewsNation.
However, a source told The US Sun “Several higher ups at ABC say this isn’t true.”

Another source said, “There’s no truth that I’m aware of that about this at this current juncture. That piece is strictly speculative rumor mill stuff.
“If you just read it, it just sounds like someone with a very specific point of view and a very specific desire to make things suddenly complicated for GMA.”
According to the NewsNation report, Strahan wants to spend more time with his family.
He took time off from Good Morning America in October 2023 to be with his daughter Isabella during her battle against a brain tumor.
Strahan is still set to feature on Fox NFL Sunday for the 2025 season, but that show is facing turmoil too.
