Reality TV personality Katie Price has revealed she’s currently relocating to a new home. The announcement follows recent weeks when she disclosed her landlord was contemplating selling the Sussex property she’d been renting since departing the Mucky Mansion.
Katie, 47, had raised alarm amongst supporters that she might face homelessness after revealing difficulties securing a guarantor for alternative accommodation. However, it has now emerged that she has successfully secured fresh living arrangements.
The news was disclosed during her latest podcast episode, with considerable speculation surrounding the property this week. This development comes after Katie concerned admirers with her appearance in a family photograph whilst discussing her weight reduction. During the Katie Price Show, broadcast today, she confirmed she’s awaiting her move into the new residence.
Katie revealed that her boyfriend JJ Slater, 33, had been assisting her with measuring furniture dimensions. Discussing her recent endeavours, Katie informed her sister Sophie Price, 35, on the podcast: “Measured the stuff at the new house for all the new furniture.”

The former glamour model subsequently described the dwelling as “gorgeous”. She continued: “We just went and measured up for [the new furniture].”
Her sister Sophie, who presents the podcast alongside her, asked whether she was solely purchasing a new sofa, prompting Katie to reply, “Everything new”. During another segment of the podcast, Katie revealed that she is already eagerly anticipating the winter months, which will be enjoyed in her new residence.
The revelation that Katie has secured new accommodation follows her previous disclosure on her podcast last month that she might need to search for alternative living arrangements.
She stated: “I think I’ve got to move house because I think the guy wants to sell my house now, so I’ve got to go on the house hunt again.”
During a subsequent episode, also broadcast last month, Katie discussed her difficulties in finding suitable accommodation.
She recalled how her current landlord had permitted her to occupy the property she’s departing without requiring a guarantor.
She explained: “I’ve been on time with all the payments, as you should, and bills and everything, but now he wants to sell it.”
Katie continued: “Some houses I look at, like, I can’t get a guarantor because some people don’t earn money like me to be a guarantor.”
Katie revealed that she had found a property where the owner demanded six months’ rent in advance as a safeguard against missed payments, despite her having an excellent reference from her previous landlord.
The reality TV star, who has been declared bankrupt in the past, expressed her frustration at being “judged” based on stories about her. Sophie comforted her, remarking: “Nowadays, with renting, they are asking for more, aren’t they? It’s more competitive.”
Having been declared bankrupt twice, once in 2019 and again last year, Katie clarified: “The truth is like, people don’t realise, I got in all that bankruptcy stuff not because I didn’t want to pay [but because] I had a breakdown. […] But I’m not like that now.”
