The series is loved by almost every anime watcher, and there is hardly anyone on the planet who doesn’t know about Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece.

However, in recent years, the popularity of One Piece has increased twice as much, and one reason behind it is the renowned American YouTuber and online streamer, IShowSpeed. Speed has been talking about One Piece since the beginning of his career. He has been a fan of the series for the longest time and has confessed to the fact that One Piece has literally saved his life during one of his toughest moments.
Thus, he has been an avid promoter of the series, and it looks like Toei Animation has finally recognized his contribution to the ever-growing popularity of One Piece. This is because IShowSpeed recently revealed that the production studio of One Piece has allowed him to stream every episode of the anime series live on his channel. And while it sounds intriguing, it is too good to be true considering the strictness Toei has shown regarding similar situations in the past.
IShowSpeed’s love for One Piece
Ever since IShowSpeed gained fame for his eccentric streams, he has been expressing his love for One Piece and its main character, Monkey D. Luffy. The character has pointed out that he has been inspired by Luffy, and it is safe to say that his personality feels a lot similar to the future King of the Pirates from the One Piece universe.
However, his love isn’t limited to sharing similarities with Luffy in real life. He has been quite vocal about his obsession with the series, and the reason behind this is that in 2020 when he was battling depression due to COVID quarantine, One Piece saved his life. He pointed out that he watched the first episode, and his life completely changed since then.

Thus, he has expressed his gratitude by making One Piece an important part of his career. In fact, he recently spent a huge sum of money to build a gaming PC setup that is totally inspired by One Piece and many aspects of the series. Thus, it is safe to say that he is probably one of the if not the biggest influencers/online personalities who is a fan of the series.
IShowSpeed gets a green light to stream One Piece episodes
During a recent YouTube stream, IShowSpeed revealed that he met with the producer of One Piece a few days ago, and she has agreed to whitelist IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel, which would allow him to stream all the episodes of One Piece anime. This means Speed can watch the One Piece anime live on his channel, and it won’t get copyrighted.

This is a first in history, considering the fact that Toei or Funimation has never allowed anyone to stream or watch One Piece online. However, Speed has pointed out that he has no idea what he is going to do with such a big opportunity.
There is a chance that he might start a streaming marathon where he can watch the entire One Piece series, but that would be too bold even for him.
While this sounds too good to be true, Speed has pointed out that he has video proof of their conversation, and he will put out a vlog that will confirm it. Thus, if this turns out to be true, Speed will most likely be one of the first celebrities to represent Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece on a global scale.
