HEARTBREAKING: Coleen Nolan’s Ex-Husband Makes Rare Appearance On Loose Women As She OPENS UP About Their ‘TOXIC MARRIAGE’

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan ex-husband Ray Fensome appeared on the ITV programme for a pre-recorded musical special on Thursday (October 9) in honour of World Mental Health Day.

The special episode featured Coleen alongside Brenda Edwards, Myleene Klass, Oti Mabuse and Kéllé Bryan as they performed the tracks that supported them during challenging periods.

Nevertheless, at the programme’s opening, Coleen declared that her former spouse Ray had become part of the show as a member of the house band for the episode, playfully mocking their “dreadful marriage”.

The panel kicked off the programme with a stirring performance of Tina Turner’s Simply the Best, featuring Coleen, Brenda and Kéllé providing vocals whilst Myleene accompanied on piano and Oti performed choreography.

During an interval in the performance, Coleen declared: “Welcome to a very special Loose Women with Simply the Best panel.

“With World Mental Health Day tomorrow, we reveal how music changed our lives and helped us through our toughest times and we tell our music stories.”

Following the performance, Coleen presented the programme’s fresh house band – featuring her former husband Ray Fensome. “A big welcome to our house band which is headed up by someone I know particularly well. My ex-husband Ray Fensome,” she declared, reports The Mirror

As the camera shifted to Ray, Coleen remarked: “That’s the look he always gave me when I was talking.” She proceeded to disclose that the panel would not merely be speaking from the heart, “but singing from the heart as well”.

Discussing the music that helped her through difficult periods, Coleen revealed: “I would like to give a big shout-out to Adele, who helped me get over my really awful split from Ray.”

The audience erupted into laughter as Ray uncomfortably chuckled along, with Coleen adding: “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.”

Coleen tied the knot with guitarist Ray in 2007 following their initial meeting in 2000. They welcomed their daughter Ciara in June 2001, with Ray popping the question to Coleen on her 40th birthday four years later.

The Loose Women panellist had previously discussed their matrimonial difficulties whilst appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, disclosing that she hoped to determine whether they could repair their relationship.

Nevertheless, in February 2018, she confirmed that their marriage had officially ended. Despite their separation, the former pair have maintained their friendship.

Coleen also shares sons Jake and Shane Jr from her previous marriage to EastEnders’ Shane Richie, which ran from 1990 until 1999.
