Coronation Street has aired a shock incident for Sean Tully as Mick Michaelis and Brody’s connection is finally revealed.
Earlier this month it was reported that newcomers Mick and his wife Lou would reveal a massive secret before exiting the soap this summer and in tonight’s episode their secret finally came out.
At the café a desperate Sean told Daniel about the burner phone which he planted in his bag and begged him to try and retrieve it.
Sean told Daniel that the phone could contain the evidence he needed to expose Brody for the nasty thug that he is, while Mick listened in on their conversation.

Brody, who has been tormenting Sean’s son Dylan while they are both in the Secure Training Centre, told Mick that Sean and Dylan are liars, saying he’s never done anything wrong. Mick promised Brody that he would deal with it.
In the Rovers, Sean listened in horror as Lou poured her heart out to Gemma, telling her about her eldest son, Brody, revealing he was currently doing time at the STC.
Sean told Gemma all about Brody, telling her that he was the thug who’d been terrorising Dylan and he’s reported him.

Following this, Mick went to see Gemma and asked her to provide him with an alibi. In the ginnel, a bruised and battered Sean was seen slumped against the wall, barely conscious.
After being taken to the hospital, Sean told the police who attacked him and Mick was taken to the station. At the STC, Daniel told Dylan that his Dad had been beaten up.
Having been released without charge, Mick cornered Gemma in the Rovers’ backyard, where he menacingly told her to provide him with an alibi for the sake of her kids.

“Your little mate grassed up our lad, spread all sorts of lies about him. So whoever gave him a kicking, good luck to ’em, he had it coming” Mick said to Gemma.
“Trust me, you do not want me as an enemy,” he added, before making a threat about the safety of Gemma’s kids.
Gemma advised Sean to retract his statement about Mick, saying he was unhinged and by pressing charges he could make matters worse.
Sean called in at the station and told the desk sergeant he needed to change his statement.
