SH0CKING: Emmerdale SHAKEN after Celia’s ‘Unpredictable’ TWIST

Emmerdale viewers were left questioning Celia Daniels’ (played by Jaye Griffiths) real intentions after she made a shocking admission to Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) during Wednesday’s (August 27) episode. Since arriving in the village in June, the newcomer has had an eye on Moira’s farm and pretended to be a potential business partner and proposing a partnership to supply a hotel with their meat and poultry products.

Having faced a storm of financial troubles, Moira was optimistic and believed the partnership would save her farm; however, Celia soon left her devastated and revealed that the hotel contract had fallen through. In the latest episode, Celia was up at Home Farm and shockingly revealed the truth that she has been working with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Kim Tate (Claire King) all along to deliberately sabotage Moira’s business. While many were pleased to see Moira learn the truth, others suspected that this was all part of their ploy. One viewer said: “This turnabout from Celia isn’t convincing at all.”

A second questioned: “Is this a double agent type plot Celia & Joe hatched up?”

“So Celia was ‘baddie’ for all of 5 mins lmao Moira friends her after hating her gets conned by her & STILL wants to be besties with her LOOOOL more drivel,” (sic) noted another.

Anticipating disaster ahead, one fan predicted: “Moira really is more stupid than I thought If she trusts Celia again lmao.” (sic)

As a fifth posted: “I don’t get why Celia is telling all to Moira? Is she up to something else?”

This change of heart came after Joe got on the wrong side of Celia and complained about her lack of progress. It was then that Celia decided to head to Butlers Farm and confess everything to Moira.

While Moira was in shock at Celia’s bombshell, the newcomer was hopeful they could still come to some sort of financial agreement away from Joe.

Wanting to hear more, the two women then headed to Home Farm to confront Joe, but it was here that fans got another glimpse of Celia’s dark side as she snuck into the kitchen and got incredibly close to Joe’s face, which startled him and prompted him to call her creepy.

Joe was shocked to learn of Celia’s quick deceit; however, this storyline could take an interesting turn, as the actress Griffiths dropped a major tease about the upcoming episodes.

The star shared: “The Emmerdale audience are finally starting to see the true extent of Celia’s personality. She’s great fun to play but she is ruthless and there is plenty more to come.”
