Multiple fires are continuing to rage throughout the greater Los Angeles area, causing devastation for the people living there including celebrities such as Harrison Ford
Various celebrities have lost their homes due to the historically devastating fires raging through the Los Angeles area.
Stars ranging from Harrison Ford to Paris Hilton lost their family homes while others had to be saved from the flames themselves. Many television shows have paused production as well and the Critics Choice Awards have been postponed.
Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for areas north of Hollywood Blvd, west of U.S Highway 101 all the way to Laurel Canyon Blvd. Evacuation warnings have been issued for blocks stretching from N Stanley Ave to Laurel Canyon between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevard.
Mandatory evacuation orders also remained in place near the Palisades fire west of Los Angeles. People have also been told to leave their homes in the San Fernando Valley near the Hurst fire. Others were told to leave their residences in parts of Santa Monica and Altadena because of the Eaton fire.
Five people have been k.i.lled as a result of the wildfires. More than 15,000 acres and 1,100 structures have been burned so far. Firefighters from multiple states have arrived or are on the way to help with the fires, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone said at a media briefing on Wednesday afternoon. He said 60 teams were coming from Oregon, 45 from Washington state, 15 from Utah, 10 from New Mexico and “numerous” teams were coming from Arizona.
Here are some of the celebrity homes that were destroyed by the blaze, and what they looked like before.
