Emmerdale STAR BREAKS SILENCE On The HEARTBREAKING SCENE That SHATTERS Everything As NATE’S D3ATH Is FINALLY Exposed In SH0CK Reveal

Emmerdale actor Amy Walsh has spoken about how her character Tracy Metcalfe will react upon hearing the “heartbreaking” truth about husband Nate Robinson.
In the most recent episode, it was revealed that a body was found in the lake, leaving multiple characters worried that it could be evil Anthony, whose death had been covered up.
However, it turns out to be Nate, who was accidentally killed by John during a botched rescue.
“Obviously she’s heartbroken,” Walsh said of Tracy’s reaction. “She can’t believe he’s been in that lake where they had the crash, she can’t believe that all this time he’s been there and she’s been slagging him off, thinking he’s disowned them as a family.
“Yeah, it’s absolutely heartbreaking for Tracy in that moment, for sure.”

She added: “It’s initial shock and then it’s a pretty instant emotional breakdown, mainly for the guilt she has about it, about not looking for him, thinking the worst, all the bad things that she’s said about him since knowing that all that time he’s dead in the lake, it’s really heartbreaking.
“Everything that unfolds after that initial news is just heartbreaking and obviously the main person she’s thinking of in all of this is Frankie [their daughter]. She doesn’t want to tell her, she puts it off for days.

“It’s really sad when she says ‘I just wanted to give her one last night’s sleep without that pain’ or something, that broke me filming that.”
