Coronation Street has aired a dramatic change for Lisa Swain and Kit Green, who until now have been on the same page.
Last month, Lisa became the keeper of a dark secret after Kit took his revenge on Mick Michaelis for murdering Craig Tinker.
Viewers will know that Kit orchestrated Mick’s brutal beating in his prison cell and that Lisa agreed to keep it a secret.
Unaware that Brody Michaelis is actually Kit’s son, Lisa and Kit clashed over the teenager in tonight’s episode.
Brody attempted to wind up Daniel Osbourne, spilling his drink all over his work, and Lisa threatened to arrest him for harassment.

Lisa put Brody in handcuffs and took him to the station, where Brody emptied his pockets, revealing a box of white pills.
Brody refused to tell Lisa what they were. In his cell, Brody asked Lisa for his meds, but as Lisa headed off, he suffered an epileptic seizure.
Kit and Lisa were horrified to learn that Brody had suffered an epileptic fit. Brody told Kit he had called out to Lisa that he needed his epilepsy meds, but she ignored him.
Lisa told Kit she hadn’t heard his cry for help, but Kit didn’t believe her and said: “Do us a favour, yeah. Go home, sort your head out. ‘Cause the state you’re in, you’re a menace to be around.”

Later, Lisa told Carla Connor how she lost her temper with Brody, arrested him and confiscated his pills, unaware of his epilepsy diagnosis.
DI Costello reprimanded Lisa, telling her that they had received a complaint and she would be on restricted duties while investigations were carried out.
Lisa called at Kit’s flat, where she told him she knew it was him who reported her and that he’d better watch his back.
“I turned a blind eye when you were covering up for Mick amongst other things, and now you do this to me? Really? I’d watch your back if I were you, mate,” she said.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
