TODAY host Hoda Kotb has suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on air.

The anchor’s Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager called out the clothing mishap during the live TV broadcast.

During the Girl Code segment of the show, Jenna, 42, painted a picture for the show’s audience as she explained, “You’re sitting with your friend, you’re hosting a television show as some do, and you look down and you notice that your friend has something on her pants.”

The Read All About It! author continued, “You wonder, ‘Shall I tell her quietly or should I just scream it to the world?'”

The broadcast cut from a shot of the hosts to a close-up of the security tag still attached to the bottom of Hoda’s pant leg.

“Hoda it seems as though you either stole those pants or they forgot to take off the security code,” Jenna teased.

Both Hoda, 59, and the studio audience erupted with laughter as Jenna called out the wardrobe malfunction.

The former Dateline NBC correspondent replied, “I think sometimes the security code is forgotten. We’ve all had that, it’s left behind.”

She stated, “We tried to pry it off with pliers,” before adding, “It doesn’t work.”

“But I will have you know that I went through the seven and eight o’clock with no one noticing,” Hoda bragged.

Jenna playfully shot back, “They may not be paying attention to you the way I pay attention to you.”

Hoda revealed she doesn’t care about the plastic tag hanging off her leg after the show kicks off.

Jenna told Hoda, “I do like those pants, they’re cute” before mentioning that her co-host still had the price tag fastened to the garment as well.

“There’s also the tag on the back,” she blurted.

Hoda questioned, “There’s another tag?”

Jenna reached behind Hoda and tugged on the tag as she stated, “I believe there’s another tag, like, right here.”

“Oh yeah,” chuckled as she grasped hold of the tag.

Savannah Guthrie uploaded photos of the Today crew on Instagram, with the caption, “Seems interesting and other scenes from TODAY.”

In the comment section, fans appeared distracted by the security tag on Hoda’s pants, as one person wrote, “Forever here for Hoda and the security tag!”

“Hoda and the security tag lol! Savanna best dress always!! Love your style!” commented another.

“I see @hodakotb security tag Lol,” wrote a third.

A fourth commenter replied, “First thing I noticed!”

“I can’t unsee Hoda’s security tag now! Low key classic Hoda though,” added another.

KID’S DAY

Last month, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, and Dylan Dreyer put their children’s anchoring skills to the test by having them sit at the desk on Take Your Child to Work Day.

Craig, 44, brought his son, Delano, 10, to set.

He shares Delano and a daughter, Sybil, 7, with his wife, Lindsay Czarniak.

Delano sat at the anchor desk with Dylan’s six-year-old son Calvin.

The meteorologist shares Calvin with her husband, Brian Fichera, as well as two other sons – Oliver “Ollie,” four, and Russell “Rusty,” two.

Their oldest sons joined the hosts on Today’s Third Hour.

“Hey, this doesn’t seem so hard!” Calvin said as Al Roker introduced the day’s show.

Craig and Dylan, 42, joined Al, 69, and Sheinelle Jones, and laughed after their sons took their seats at the desk.

“It’s hard work. I’ll tell you right now it’s hard work,” Dylan corrected before she praised her son.

On Today with Hoda & Jenna, Hoda brought her daughter, Haley, seven, with her.

The anchor has another daughter, Hope, 4, who she shares with her ex-partner, Joel Schiffman.

The couple adopted the girls before their split.

Hoda and Jenna, 42, brought Haley, along with half of the crew’s children on set.

They had the children introduce themselves and say who they were related to.

When it came time for Haley to speak, she was very excited and said that she loved spending time with her mom.
