Ant and Dec awkwardly failed to acknowledge Kelly Brook in her first I’m A Celeb scenes on Sunday amid an alleged fallout.

Piers Morgan broke his silence on a rumoured “feud” between ITV hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and jungle contestant Kelly Brook. The new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! aired on Sunday night as a host of famous faces are set to compete in BushTucker Trials Down Under.
Kelly, 45, is thought to have been at loggerheads with the famous duo since 2009, when she alleged they got her fired from her role as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, due to the fact she did not know what they did on the show, leading to a “clash of egos”.
Piers, 60, who also worked on the show at the time, alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, weighed in on the drama as he detailed what happened behind the scenes and dished on the Geordie duo’s “true colours” in a cheeky dig.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Uncensored presenter shared a throwback photo alongside BGT judges Simon and Amanda, Kelly and hosts Ant and Dec.
He told his 2.5 million followers: “As Kelly Brook goes into the I’m A Celebrity jungle, a throwback to when she very briefly appeared as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.. for just two disastrous days!
Be interesting to see how she interacts with Ant and Dec given she still blames them for being fired so fast and ruthlessly.. which isn’t far from the truth.
They weren’t happy they hadn’t been consulted by Simon Cowell about Kelly’s sudden hiring – and even less happy when she asked them what they did on the show.”

Fans reacted to Piers’ comments as one remarked: “Just had to google when this was. 2009! 16 years later, it’s highly likely everyone’s moved on from this…”
Another teased: “Spill the tea Piers,” while a third wrote: “Stirring the pot as usual Piers.”
It comes 16 years after the model and actress insisted the pair had thwarted her career, saying after the axing: “There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain’s Got Talent. The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it.”
In their 2010 autobiography, Dec was candid about the feud – insisting he could not understand why she had been recruited on to BGT.
Kelly joined the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 as the first ever fourth judge alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan – however she was axed after just one week when the format was deemed “too complicated”.
During last night’s episode of I’m A Celeb, Kelly’s first interactions with Ant and Dec came when she parachuted down onto the beach where the presenters were waiting.
As the star prepared to jump out of her helicopter, she turned to the camera and yelled, “Ant and Dec, I’m coming for you!”
