NFL fans had a lot to say after Patrick Mahomes linked up with soccer superstar Lionel Messi. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the Inter Miami forward joined forces at a FIFA World Cup event with Adidas.
Mahomes took to Instagram to share a couple of pictures of his participation in the event, the first posing with Messi and the FIFA World Cup trophy in the middle and the second talking with Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden.

After being swatted away by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, Mahomes and the Chiefs are eager to bounce back and return to the top of the league. The three-time Super Bowl champion is already working to return in his best shape for 2025 and lead Kansas City to another win.
As for the Argentinean icon, he’s led Miami to four wins and one draw in the first five games of the 2025 MLS season. Messi is yet to win his first MLS Cup and the season before a World Cup year could be a good opportunity to do so.
