However the retired hairdresser hasn’t been on our screens for the past few months – which hasn’t gone unnoticed.

As Corrie fans will know that her sister-in-law, Shona, lost her wedding ring and everyone has been trying to find it.

She continued: ‘No, don’t tell gran either. Yeah, just let her enjoy her holiday. She’s having a break, isn’t she?

‘Oh no, you call me any time you want! We all love you very much as well, alright, love you.

‘Okay, speak to you soon, bye!’

So now Corrie fans know exactly where she is, considering a lot have taken to social media to share their concern.

One asked on X: ‘Where’s Audrey?’

Another pondered: ‘Where is Audrey? #Corrie.’

‘So great to have scenes in the salon again but no Audrey? #Corrie.’

‘Where is Audrey? Not seen the bouncy blow queen in yonks.’

‘Where is Audrey, has she met Jodie yet, she lives with David too #Corrie.’

‘Where is Granny Audrey?’

Audrey’s daughter Gail left Weatherfield with Jesse Chadwick back in 2024 to start a new chapter abroad in France.

But Audrey decided to stay living on Coronation Street with the rest of her family.

It comes after Emmerdale and Coronation Street were cancelled this week in an ITV schedule shake-up.

The soap operas began new schedules in January, although bosses are again pulling them from schedules to make way for sport fixtures.

Usually, the ‘soap power hour’ sees Emmerdale air at 8pm for 30 minutes, then Coronation Street for another 30 minutes.

On Friday (March 6), both soaps will be off air due to a Six Nations match being aired instead.

In prior shake-ups, the shows would be moved to alternative days or times within the week, but the five-day schedule now makes this less feasible.

Both soaps will return to screens on Monday (March 9), for their normal 8pm and 9pm slots.

Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
