BREAKING NEWS: Gogglebox fans all make the SAME COMPLAINT after the latest episode is RUINED just minutes after airing

Gogglebox was inundated with complaints as fans were left furious over a number of new additions. The Channel 4 programme returned with a brand new series on Friday (September 5) and with that came the arrival of five new families. A preview for the upcoming series was shown at the beginning of the episode, featuring friends Jake, 27, and Calum, 31, from Glasgow, married couple Andrew, 62, and Alfie, 32, who reside in The Cotswolds and the Gordon family, made up of couple Andre, 49, and Sarah, 47, as well as their 25-year-old daughter Chee.
Viewers will also be introduced to Sara, 87, and her daughter-in-law Lara, 58, and sisters, Rosie, 68, and Susie, 70, who hail from Edinburgh. But before the programme had properly begun, fans flocked to social media to complain about the new arrivals, with some even claiming the show had been “ruined” because of it. “I haven’t seen any of the new people yet, but they can all go away please,” one fumed as a second agreed: “I already dislike the new people.”

“Who are all these new people??!!!” exclaimed a third as another raged: “Oh, I can’t be doing with new people. They always ruin it.”
Also hitting out at the latest arrivals, a fifth said: “Oh no. These new people can f**k off already, they’re so try hard.”
Echoing this, someone else chimed in: “What’s the point of these new people on #Gogglebox – no characters, not funny or interesting, just boring.”
However, others disagreed and welcomed the newcomers with open arms. One penned: “A few new families by the looks of it – about time!”
Slamming those who are complaining, another remarked: “People passing judgement on the newbies after 12 minutes. Honestly, f**k off and watch Midsomer Murders instead.”
The new cast members will join the show’s regulars; Jenny and Lee, The Siddiquis, The Malones, Giles and Mary, Ellie and Izzi and David and Shirley.
The Plummers, Amira and Amani, the Worthingtons, Pete and Sophie, Abbie and Georgia, Sue and Steve, Simon and Jane, Ronnie and Annie, Danielle and Daniella, Teresa and Anita and Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry are also returning to the show.
One duo who won’t be making a comeback is Glasgow-based couple Roisin and Joe, who were axed from the programme three years after they joined in 2022.
