STRICTLY champ Kelvin Fletcher is set to put more strain on his marriage by heading off on a five-day New York trip with Oti Mabuse.

The actor is already in his wife’s bad books after late night partying with his pro dance partner.

Eliza Marsland was seen out without her wedding ring today as it emerged Kelvin, 36, has axed plans to film with Oti, 29, this week.

He was due to record a segment in London for her BBC One show The Greatest Dancer.

We can also reveal Kelvin and Eliza, who wed in 2015 and have two children, briefly split ten years ago over his boozing.

A source said: “Kelvin told Eliza he’ll curb late night drinks as he understands how bad it looked.

The ex-Emmerdale star was today pictured kissing Eliza at Manchester Piccadilly station.

The snaps may suggest they are back on good terms, but Eliza is privately seething after Kelvin was seen out partying with Oti twice in two days in London last weekend.

Kelvin and Oti will teach two masterclasses in one day and host a gala dinner for Queen Mary 2 cruise ship passengers in New York in June.

They are expected to be away for five days at the event, which was organised after their victory on the show.

Kelvin’s absence from home during Strictly and his appearance on the live shows has put a strain on his marriage.

He even missed his wedding anniversary to concentrate on the dance competition.

The source added: “Eliza’s hugely supportive of Kelvin’s career and everything he’s achieved since joining Strictly.

“They both knew he would be sacrificing precious time with her and their children but knew it was too good an opportunity to miss.

“However the distance hasn’t been easy and they’ve had their fair share of rows.

“Knowing that Kelvin’s out on the lash with his co-stars has been a sore point.

“It’s frustrating for him as well, as it has been lonely on the road. Kelvin has felt like he couldn’t win. If he wasn’t out with the others he’d be in a hotel room by himself.”

Eliza hit back over her ring on Instagram today posting: “That ring is heavy. It only comes out on special occasions! Oh and it was fake tan day.”

Pals say Kelvin is keeping a low profile.

One said: “He knows he’s brought this on himself and just wants it to blow over.

“He’s smoothed over everything with Eliza and just wants to move on.
