FORMER Emmerdale star Danny Miller is facing a government probe over the collapse of his acting firm.
The company owed tax at £68,548 and £78k to unsecured creditors.

An administrator has revealed in a report sent to Companies House that it is unlikely he’ll be able to pay up.
They’ve filed a report to a government department about Danny’s running of Cannon Professional Acting Ltd, that took in cash from the actor’s work.
It stated: “Our report on the conduct of the Directors of the Company to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy under the CDDA 1986 was submitted in accordance with statutory timescales and is confidential.
“Shortly after appointment, I made an initial assessment of whether there could be any matters that might lead to recoveries for the estate and what further investigations may be appropriate.
“This assessment took into account any information provided by creditors.
“My investigations have not revealed any issues requiring further report or any further potential recoveries which could be pursued for the benefit of creditors.”
And the number-cruncher said of the likelihood of the tax office being paid: “Overall, we can confirm that the realisations in the liquidation are insufficient to declare a dividend to the unsecured creditors after defraying the expenses of the proceedings.
“Pursuant to Rule 14.37 of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016, we therefore give notice that there will be no ordinary unsecured dividend in the Liquidation.”
The soap star – who is expecting his second child with wife Steph – won I’m a Celebrity in 2021 when it was held in Gwrych Castle in Wales due to Covid restrictions Down Under.
He picked up around £100,000 for his stint in the show and raked in tens of thousands of pounds more from lucrative ad deals, promotions and TV and media interviews.
The actor returned to Emmerdale late last year for a six-week stint of filming, when his character Aaron Dingle reunited with his sister Liv for the show’s 50th anniversary.
“I never imagined after I’m a Celebrity that I’d come back for a long period of time so soon, so when they called and asked if I’d like to be a part of the 50th, I was instantly interested,” he said at the time.
“Emmerdale has been huge for me, it was an honour that I got asked to return and say happy birthday.”
Danny has refused to rule out a full-time return, saying: “I’m not one of those actors that say ‘No, that’s it now, I’ve shelved it’.
“As I said, it’s a massive part of my life, a huge part of my life, and it always will be.
“There’s never a chance of me ever saying I’ll never go back.”
Danny’s company accounts show he raked in £13k from his ITV contract and made a £6k contribution to the £23k winding up fees on the company.
Danny has also lost a second performing arts business registered on Companies House.
The business, Ganley Hannon Acting, was set up in March 2021.
But it was struck off last summer by bosses at Companies House under the compulsory strike-off rules because Danny did not file paperwork on time.
