In the midst of re-colouring his wife’s hair, Kelvin realised that he has missed a crucial step of the root application process
Kelvin Flecther might be a talented soap star and a natural dancer – but it seems his hairdressing skills still need some work.
The former Strictly Come Dancing champion, 37, took it upon himself to dye his wife’s hair on Thursday, and the results didn’t go as expected.
Due to the fact that his other-half Liz can’t nip to the hair salon, amid the ongoing lockdown in the UK, the ex-Emmerdale star decided to give hairdressing a whirl while at home.
Liz was forced to resort to buying a home dye kit in order to even out her colour and she roped in the help of her hubby who admittedly didn’t have a clue what he was doing.
In the midst of re-colouring his wife’s hair, Kelvin realised that he has missed a crucial step of the root application process.
The former soap star filmed the entire process on his Instagram Stories – much to the delight of his adoring fans.

Meanwhile, his unimpressed wife joked that he was doing the “worst job ever” as she sat in the hot seat.
After Kevin had applied the dye to Liz’s hair, the pair came back to his Instagram Stories once it was time to rinse out the colour.
Naturally, Kelvin hyped himself up and pleaded with Liz to show off the results of his work.

“They wanna see the ‘after’, we’ve seen the ‘before’… looking like that woman from 101 Dalmatians,” the cheeky star quipped.
“I’ve not missed any bits. It looks good, there’s no grey,” he enthused while filming his wife – who looked rather unimpressed.

Kelvin was crowned Strictly champ alongside pro partner Oti Mabuse – who also won in 2020 with Bill Bailey – after stepping in for an injured Jamie Laing at the last minute in 2019.
He starred in Emmerdale until 2016, bringing to a close a 20-year stint on the soap as Andy Sugden.
