Good Morning Britain fans fume ‘WHAT HAPPENED’ as ITV show suffers major blunder. T

Hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray were back on presenting duty and woke up the nation with the latest news from across the globe on ITV’s Good Morning Britain

Good Morning Britain viewers were all left saying the same thing just minutes into the latest ITV breakfast show.

Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were back on presenting duty on Friday (November 8) and woke up the nation with the biggest news headlines from across the globe.

As usual, the programme handed over to local news stations during the broadcast but it appears that viewers watching in London didn’t get the correct segment and were instead told about what was going on in the Channel Islands.

The “blunder” didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers with some rushing to X, formerly known as Twitter, to question the mistake. One person wrote: “#gmb why is London getting Meridian news.” Another added: “#Gmb What’s happened to Good Morning Britain local London news?” A third asked: “Why are we getting the wrong area news?”

It comes just days after GMB turned awkward as Susanna Reid and Ed Ball clashed with Home Alone actor Rob Schneider as he appeared on the ITV show to support Donald Trump after he was elected the next President of the United States.

Susanna and Ed presented a special edition of GMB in Washington D.C. as Trump went up against Kamala Harris in the US election. However, things didn’t go to plan as Hollywood actor Rob kicked off his interview by claiming that Susanna and Ed had been discussing “misogyny off-camera” but they quickly shut him down.

Susanna said: “Neither of us have uttered those words” and Ed tried to move on the conversation by asking Rob: “Tell us about Donald Trump becoming the President of the United States?.”

As Rob failed to answer his question, Ed went on to ask: “Are you sure you’ve been watching out programme? I feel like we’re on Saturday Night Live here Rob, are we in Home Alone 4? I feel like this interview has taken a bit of a turn!'”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
