TV favourite Gogglebox has featured dozens of families over the years, with some going the distance but others disappearing without trace.

The Channel 4 programme, which features armchair critics dishing up their verdict on the latest TV offerings, started in 2013 with a handful of families and has given us stars like the Moffatts , Pete and Sophie Sandiford and the Tappers.
However, some of the people who featured in early episodes have completely vanished from the public eye, including the popular Allen sisters.

The trio – Charlotte, Gemma, and Louise Allen – were among the original Gogglebox cast members, starting out on the show in 2013.
The siblings, who were known for looking very alike, were from Essex and lived at home with their parents, and tickled viewers with their hilarious remarks on the week’s small screen offerings.
“I’d love to watch TV with the Allen sisters any day!” one person posted on X (which was Twitter at the time), as one of their episodes aired. Another said it was “so lovely” watching them on TV, calling them “top girls”.
“Love the Allen sisters,” said another, as someone else said that their addition to the show had ensured that Gogglebox was “class TV”.
They were part of the show in series one and two but when the third series started, they were nowhere to be seen.

Newcomers such as the Moffatt family and Kate and Graham Bottley joined the roster for that series, but it soon became clear that Charlotte, Gemma and Louise had quietly exited.
Several viewers wondered what had happened, with one posting on X: “What happened to the Allen sisters on Gogglebox? Was just starting to like them!”
After their departure, the sisters remained on social media but none of them has posted on X in a while.
Charlotte reportedly worked in fashion during her time on the show, but it’s not known whether she continued.
However, she is rumoured to have tied the knot since her Gogglebox stint.
