The Kansas City Chiefs are currently one of the most famous franchises in the NFL and will continue to be so long as quarterback Patrick Mahomes is with the team. One mascot who will undoubtedly benefit from that is KC Wolf.
KC Wolf has been the Kansas City Chiefs mascot for quite some time. His first appearance was in 1989 after the Chiefs needed a successor to Warpaint. Warpaint had been the team’s previous mascot for nearly three decades.
The Chiefs may have lost 38-0 to division rival Denver Broncos; however, KC Wolf shouldn’t be too worried. The Chiefs have locked up first place in the AFC since their Christmas Day win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The loss wasn’t on the Chiefs’ minds during their game against the Broncos, but KC Wolf was, or instead, the man inside the suit. It turns out it was his 600th game playing the role of the mischievous wolf.
KC Wolf Celebrates 600th Game
The team celebrated Dan Meers on Sunday as the Chiefs marked his special milestone by posting to their social media, “This Broncos game wasn’t just another game for Dan Meers. It was his 600th game! Congrats on a huge milestone, Dan!”
Meers enjoys playing KC Wolf during the NFL games, and he makes more than 150 appearances yearly in the suit that so many Chiefs fans know and love. It does not seem Meers will hang up the suit anytime soon.
Since KC Wolf became the mascot, the Chiefs have only finished last in their division seven times, so who knows? It may be entirely possible that the mascot is quite the good luck charm for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
