GB News commentator Adam Brooks has left viewers speechless after taking a brutal swipe at King Charles – admitting he “doesn’t like” the current monarch and that his “love of the Royal Family died with Queen [Elizabeth].” It comes after Reform UK’s deputy leader Richard Tice branded the king’s recent speech to French president Emmanuel Macron was “unwise”.

Speaking on Politico’s Westminster Insider podcast, Tice said: “I don’t think the late Queen would have included any of that language about the boats. I think she would have been much more careful. I presume that it’s different speechwriters, but I just don’t think that she would have ended up in that pickle.”

King Charles had hinted at there being “no borders”, with Tice going on: “I wonder whether he fell into the trap that Keir Starmer fell into by admitting that he didn’t read his speeches beforehand. I just think it was unwise of the King to tread there. It’s the role of the political class to debate that sort of thing.”

Now Adam Brooks has had his say, telling GB News: “I think I speak for quite a lot of people that my love of the Royal Family died with the Queen.

“I loved the Queen because my nan used to live with me for a bit and she got a lot of joy out of watching the Queen.”

In a bombshell statement, he added: “I actually do not like King Charles, he’s too woke. I think the pen incident where he shushed away the aide, I think that shows the type of person he is.”

The moment he was referring to occurred in 2022, when Charles struggled to find room on his desk and ushered someone to take away a tray of pens while he signed documents.

Brooks added: “How dare someone like King Charles try and get involved in things like open borders?He’s not the one whose community is being ravaged by illegal immigrants, harassing schoolgirls or touching schoolgirls, that’s happening in my area.

“He lives behind big palace walls, this does not affect him, he’s the elite. We are dealing with some really bad people being imported into this country.

“It just proves the King has no power politically because can you imagine a mediaeval king, Henry the Eighth or something, allowing an invasion of foreign men to come into this country and break our laws, what would happen?”

But he insisted he “doesn’t want to get rid of the Royal Family”, and says he does like Prince William and Princess Kate.
