According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Brady has contacted Stafford about a potential move to the Raiders.
The 37-year-old Super Bowl winner is under contract for two more years with the Rams, but the team is looking to get younger.
Stafford is also seeking a contract extension with more guaranteed money than his current deal.
Trading for the Rams quarterback could be a great option for Brady and the Raiders.
Las Vegas is desperate for quarterback help, and could probably package Stafford with Cooper Kupp in a trade deal.
On top of that, this year’s draft class is especially weak at the quarterback position.
Both the 2024 and 2023 NFL Drafts had better quarterback prospects than this year.
Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are both good players, but there is some doubt about their abilities to become franchise quarterbacks.
By trading for Stafford, the Raiders would instantly get a proven winner as they attempt to rebuild into playoff contenders.
They aren’t alone in their pursuit of Stafford though. Multiple other teams are expected to interested in the future Hall of Famer.

The New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers both have glaring holes at quarterback and could make an attempt to trade for Stafford.
The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets are also searching for competent quarterback play.
If the Raiders miss out of Stafford, they can always look to free agency.
There are some decent quarterbacks available to sign on the open market this year.
Notably, Aaron Rodgers has been let go by the Jets and could land on Brady’s team.
