Jenny Eclair has informed her followers that she has suffered a nasty fall. The English comedian, who appeared on Loose Women in 2011 and 2012, uploaded a snap of her injury on X, detailing that she had taken a tumble in Stafford. The 65-year-old also revealed that she was in tears and felt “stupid” following her incident. She captioned her image: “I fell in the street in Stafford-a boy called Jazz helped me and walked me to the train station – I feel a mess, stupid and weepy and my foot feels f***ed.” The TV star has been inundated with numerous supportive messages from her fans.
One of her followers asked her: “If you dont know why you fell (obvious trip or similar) get checked for a TIA. (Mini stroke) they are very common in old treasures like us Jen. Often referred to as a bit of a turn.” [sic] Jenny replied to that comment and said: “I fell over my b***dy suitcase stepping onto a kerb!!”

Another fan also commented: “Oh! It’s bloomin’ awful when that happens, it’s normal to feel teary. Hope it isn’t too sore and you feel better soon. I slipped on dog sick last year and ended up having back surgery.”
A third also chimed in: “These things upset one more than they should and it takes time to get over them. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Very sorry, I hope you recover quickly. Xx.”
A fourth also commented: “Oh Jenny that looks rough. Rest up and if it swells get to A&E as you may have damaged the knee (speaking from experience here) and like others have said get some arnica on it, I think the bruising may be spectacular. Debs xx.”
Jenny is also well-known for her performances on television, including The Comedy Network and Packet of Three. Eclair also performed on the West End in 2003 in Mum’s the Word and on tour with her show, Eclairious.
She appeared on series 10 of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, where she finished in third place. The series was later won by Stacey Solomon.
