RUMOURS spread that EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has D!ED

Danniella Westbrook thanks hospital for 'saving her life'

Reports that actress Danniella Westbrook has d!ed have gone viral on Facebook – and now the EastEnders star has been forced to issue a statement to reassure fans she is still alive. Posting to her Instagram Stories, Danniella addressed the cruel social media comments.

With a soundtrack of Simple Minds’ song Alive and Kicking, she penned: “The reports that are circulating on Facebook that I have d!ed are most definitely fake. I’ve just been out for dinner and I am more than fine, thank you all xoxox.” Before this, Danniella has been relatively quiet on social media, with her last Instagram grid post coming eight weeks ago on July 9th.

Earlier this year, she underwent a “very long” surgery to rebuild her “collapsing” face. The 51-year-old has undergone various reconstructive procedures after her nose collapsed from a cocaine addiction and from osteoporosis.

In April 2023, she had a thread lift, liposuction in her cheeks and lips, fat grafting on her chin and her jawline etched after her septum collapsed in 2002. She revealed she needed five operations to correct her face – paying for the surgery herself despite being offered freebies from international clinics.

Now sober, she’s keen to get her life back on track – but was left devastated by the results of her 2023 surgery in Turkey. She told OK!: “I had a surgical thread lift where they put over 1,200 threads into my face. They were also supposed to reconstruct my nose, which is what I went there for, but they haven’t done that.

“They’ve taken the fat out of my back, my sides and my stomach, and put it into my face to make it more symmetrical. But I feel like they’ve taken too much fat from my stomach. I’ve always had a six-pack, and I’ve woken up, and I’ve lost it.”

Convinced she was going to d!e after the surgery, Danniella said she had “never felt pain like it” as she sobbed to doctors who were unable to understand her. She even wrote a will to divide her belongings between loved ones.
