Sir 𝘒𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 has been ordered to “resign” by Zia Yusuf following the “unfathomable” first batch of Peter Mandelson files to the public.
Speaking to GB News, Reform UK’s Home Affairs Spokesman declared the document and its revelations as an “absolute disgrace”, hitting out at the Prime Minister for having “no shame”.
The 147-page document was released today, shortly before Chief Secretary Darren Jones stood in the House of Commons to update MPs on the matter.
Within the documents, it was confirmed Sir Keir was “warned” of Lord Mandelson’s links to the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein in December 2024.
The document also showed the disgraced peer was paid £75,000 following his withdrawal from Washington as US Ambassador.
Reacting to the document, Mr Yusuf questioned how Sir Keir can “survive” the scandal, accusing him of “lying” about his knowledge of Mr Mandelson’s relations with Epstein.
The Reform UK spokesman told GB News: “We’ve seen enough already in these Mandelson files that have been released to know that 𝘒𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 lied.
“He was warned of the relationship between Peter Mandelson and Jeffrey Epstein and says very specifically that after Epstein was first convicted of procuring an underage girl in 2008, their relationship continued across 2009 to 2011.”

Declaring the decision to appoint Mr Mandelson an “absolute disgrace”, Mr Yusuf took aim at Sir Keir for not “thinking two or three times” before giving him the ambassador position.
Mr Yusuf said: “I’m afraid it’s crystal clear now, and it’s already in the public domain that 𝘒𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 has lied. I don’t see how he survives this.
“This is a man who has absolutely no shame. You would think that if a man was literally nicknamed the Prince of Darkness and he had that report on his desk, he would think two or three times before appointing this man Britain’s ambassador to the United States. It’s an absolute disgrace.”
Expressing his outrage at the document itself, the Reform spokesman said the first release of files is “astonishing” and Sir Keir’s actions are “appalling”.

Hitting out at the decision to pay Lord Mandelson £75,000 following his dismissal, Mr Yusuf told GB News Britons have been “kicked in the teeth” by this scandal.
He said: “The actual document, I’ve been reading it since it’s been published, it it is astonishing. It is unfathomable that 𝘒𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 made this appalling decision. It’s disgraceful judgement.
“And then sand is kicked into the teeth of British people when they’ve now paid out £75,000 of taxpayer money as a severance payment. Think about someone in their place of work doing a job – if they commit gross misconduct, they’re summarily dismissed and they don’t get any notice pay.
“I struggle to see how Peter Mandelson could have committed more misconduct, certainly in an employment sense than he already has done.”

Calling on the PM to resign over his “appalling” judgment and the Lord Mandelson scandal, Mr Yusuf doubted how Sir Keir can “look at the nation again” and talk about Mr Mandelson.
He concluded: “As we now know, the police are involved with regards to misconduct in public office in a potential criminal sense, too.
“So the whole thing is a catastrophe, and I don’t see how 𝘒𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳 can look at the nation again and talk about Peter Mandelson. I think he’s got to resign.”
Mr Mandelson has previously said of his relations with Epstein: “I was never culpable or complicit in his crimes like everyone else.
“I learned the actual truth about him after his death, and he added that he had relied on assurances of his innocence. That turned out later to be horrendously false.”
Lord Mandelson has not responded to previous requests for comment, but we understand that prior to his arrest, his position was he had not acted criminally and did not act for personal gain.
