DISGUSTING: BBC Presenter Huw Edwards Spotted on the Street Engaging in BOLD ACT

Disgraced BBC presenter Huw Edwards made a rare public appearance in Swansea this week as he turned 64. The convicted sᴇx offender, who was officially dropped from the BBC in 2024, celebrated his birthday on (Monday) August 18th, and was seen carrying three bottles of Prosecco from his car through the streets of the Welsh city.
Edwards sported a white beard and wore a blue shirt under a black jacket, with a blue baseball cap held in one hand as he made his way down the street. He also wore glasses and smart brown shoes despite the seemingly casual outing, with a pair of black slacks.
Edwards pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children in July 2024 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, after resigning from the BBC on “medical advice” months earlier. He had been off air since 2023, when allegations against him were brought to light.
In September 2024 he was sentenced at the same court, and given a six-month jᴀɪl sentence suspended for two years. He also had to pay costs of £3,000.

WhatsApp texts at the time between Edwards and another male contained 41 ɪndecent images of children, as well as messages that were sᴇxuᴀl in nature. Edwards was found to be gifting the other man – who was sentenced for similar offences – presents and money.

Edwards was found with seven Category A images – the most serious classification – 12 Category B images and 22 Category C files.

While he was originally suspended from the BBC, Edwards remained on its payroll and was paid £475,000 in 2023-24. The BBC asked him to return more than £200,000 of that salary, but though “discussions were underway”, he had not returned the money by September 2024.
Sources in August 2025 claimed the money has still not been recovered, with one telling The Sun: “Everyone is raging about it. Firstly at Huw, who is a disgrace, and secondly at gutless bosses who seem unwilling or unable to do anything about it.”
