Carson Beck is living his best life in Miami.
The former Georgia quarterback has opted to join Canes football over testing his value in the NFL Draft or remaining with the Bulldogs and is set to be paid handsomely for it. According to reports, Beck will earn over $4 million in NIL money to start for Miami.
Beck spent Monday on the water with his girlfriend Hanna Cavinder and her sister Haley. Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, Haley’s boyfriend, joined them as well.
The boat they were on belongs to billionaire booster John Ruiz.
Ruiz, a popular South Florida lawyer, is also the founder of LifeWallet and owns the Cigarette Racing Team boat manufacturer. While his current net worth is unknown, he was worth at least $1.2 billion at some point.
The attorney commented on the festivities via his X account, also posting a video showing snaps from the Cavinder Twins’ Instagram.
“Hold on- are those the Cavinder Twins on a Cigarette Racing Team boat? Is that Carson Beck? Happy Birthday Twins!” he wrote.
Carson Beck Should Be One Of John Ruiz’s Biggest Fans
Ruiz is one of the biggest NIL donors in college sports, and his wealth has helped Miami recruit some of the best athletes in the country over the past few years, although he was involved in a scandal that saw the women’s basketball program hit with violations over the Twins’ recruitment.
The controversy hasn’t stopped him from funding Canes sports, and it appears that Beck is about to benefit from his involvement with the university as he’s probably paying all, or at least a significant amount, of the QB’s salary.
The former UGA star has already gotten to enjoy himself on the billionaire’s luxury boat, and we suspect there’s a lot more to come.
