Barron Trump was seen offering a handshake to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris moments after his father Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States

Barron Trump has been lauded as a “man of class” for his actions following the inauguration of his father, Donald Trump, as the 47th president of the United States.
The 78-year-old was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts at the Capitol building on Jan. 20.
As Trump took the oath with his right hand raised, his wife Melania stood beside him holding two Bibles. One was a gift from his mother, and the other was the Lincoln Bible, previously used by several presidents including Abraham Lincoln in 1861.
Just moments before, the president’s family members made their entrance into the Capitol Rotunda, taking their seats in anticipation of the inauguration. Among those present were his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., and his daughter Ivanka Trump, reports the Irish Star.
Barron was also there, and was seen extending a handshake to outgoing president Joe Biden and former vice president Kamala Harris after his father’s swearing-in. Expert lip reader Jeremy Freeman suggests that the 18-year-old offered warm greetings to both.

According to Freeman, Barron told Mr. Biden “G’day to you sir,” and greeted Harris with “Ma’am, good day.” The clip of Barron’s respectful gestures has been widely shared on X, earning him much praise for his “class.”
One user remarked that “Barron has been raised right,” while another suggested that the “Barron Trump 2044 campaign starts now.”
X user Miss Meg posted, “Such a classy, well brought up young man. As a mother, I am moved. God bless him.”
President Trump touched down in Washington on Saturday evening, ready to revel with family, backers, and political comrades in anticipation of his second swearing-in. The president journeyed from West Palm, Florida, alongside his wife Melania Trump and their son Barron on a US military C-32 plane, the flight aptly named Special Air Mission 47 as a tribute to his ascension as the 47th president.
In his inaugural speech, President Trump declared that during his tenure “our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced.”
