This week, Kelce won a $35,000 donation to his 87 and Running foundation.

The 10-time Pro Bowl tight end was announced as Nationwide‘s 2024 Charity Challenge winner which awarded him with the donation in the process.

Kelce thanked the fans of Kansas City who voted for the NFL team to secure the accolade.

“Chiefs kingdom! What’s going on everybody? Kelce said during an X clip posted by the Chiefs. “I just wanted to give a big shoutout to the kingdom on social media.

“I heard that we won the Walter Peyton Charity Challenge on social media and you know, I always got faith in the kingdom to show up and show out and support theirs.

“Just another reason why I love you guys.

“Let’s go get it in the playoffs though man, I’ll see you guys up at Arrowhead.”

Kelce started his foundation in 2015 and the charity aims to help disadvantaged kids with education and community resources.

The 87 and Running website says it looks out to help “change the outcomes of underserved youth in communities across the U.S. by creating access to opportunities, enrichment, and advancement.

Kelce and his Chiefs squad are currently resting during their bye week after earning the AFC’s No. 1 seed thanks to their 15-2 record in the regular season.

The 35-year-old recorded the lowest yardage of his career, averaged less than 10 yards per catch for the first time and totaled just three touchdowns, his lowest-ever number.

His star teammate Patrick Mahomes did not earn a Pro Bowl nod after posting 26 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Kelce did make history this season as he became the fastest NFL player to eclipse 12,000 career receiving yards last month.

And he hauled in his 1,000th career reception, becoming the first player in Chiefs history to reach that milestone.
