The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend concluded with a hyped-up and interesting event. And Kyrie Irving was there to make the most out of it even though he was not participating. While the whole arena was focused on YouTuber MrBeast’s challenge, Irving cashed out some money.

The league introduced one after the other ways to keep the All-Star festivities feel exciting. During the break, someone from the stands was called to go against Damian Lillard. The prize? A bag full of $100,000. The fan, Jaren Barajas, was the one going up against Lillard and orchestrated an incredible shot from beyond the arc. He pulled off an incredible buzzer-beater that left fans roaring for him through the Chase Center.

The challenge, orchestrated by the popular YouTube star MrBeast, was straightforward though. Damian Lillard needed to sink three deep shots from the logo before Barajas could connect on just one. What seemed like a sure win for Lillard quickly turned into a dramatic underdog moment. Barajas launched a last-second prayer that banked off the glass and swished through the net.

Interestingly, while everybody was dancing and cheering for the young fan for the prize money, cameras caught Irving doing something else. He was slipping off some dollar bills from the prize pool and smiling. And as the video went viral, fans did not hesitate to shame him for tipping himself off with that money.

However, many fans believed that the money was not real, Irving got called out for taking some bills way back home. As the moment developed, the fan said he will use the money to fund his college fees. And making a bang for a three-pointer proved to be the real deal for him. While the Dallas Mavericks star might think nobody saw him do the antics, social media fans got him red-handed.

“East Orange activities,” a fan commented.

“Tax his a**,” another fan wrote.

“Usual suspects… always stealing,” a fan joked.

“Lmfao he went straight to the vending machine and bought some snacks,” another comment read.

“It wasn’t real money,” wrote another fan.

However, it does not seem like Kyrie, being a millionaire, will steal the money. It was all fun and he might be just teasing Dame with the bills. Though he deserves the much-needed break from the extra load, he has to bear in Anthony Davis’ absence after Luka Doncic’s departure. And the NBA All-Star Weekend was a refresher for the Mavs star.
