‘Worried’ Katie Price issues shocking health update on Harvey as she admits she is unaware ‘what will happen’

Katie Price has delivered a heartbreaking update about the health of her eldest son, Harvey Price, revealing that the 22-year-old is dangerously close to suffering a heart attack after his weight soared to nearly 30 stone.
Speaking candidly on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast with her sister Sophie, the mum-of-five opened up about her growing fears for Harvey’s future and the urgent steps being taken to address his condition.

After being asked about her fears for the future, Katie admitted: “Not knowing what will happen to Harvey next.”
“He’s just under 30st and that’s huge,” She said. “He’s on the verge of a heart attack. He won’t have a long life if he carries on putting more and more weight on. That’s obviously a massive worry for me. But we’re doing something about it with the doctors.”
Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia. He has battled with weight-related health issues his entire life.
Katie stressed that despite public assumptions, solutions such as weight-loss injections aren’t straightforward due to their complex needs.
“We’re waiting to start him on Mounjaro,” she explained. “But because of his complex needs and medications he’s on, things aren’t as easy.”
Mounjaro, a medication approved for type 2 diabetes that has shown promising results for weight loss, could be a game-changer for Harvey.
But getting him onto a suitable treatment plan remains a challenge.

‘Harvey is hard work’
The reality star was both emotional and proud as she spoke about her close bond with Harvey and the effort it takes to care for him.
“I love my Harvey Price. As much as I say Harvey is hard work, it’s a hard work I wouldn’t want to be without,” Katie said warmly.
“It’s very rewarding. I can’t imagine Harvey in two years when he’s started Mounjaro and has lost a lot of weight.”
The reality star has always been open about her parenting journey and Harvey’s needs.
Earlier this month, Katie described herself as ‘heartbroken’ over Harvey’s growing size.
“I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up,” She admitted in a Snapchat video. “I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the Mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.
It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment. Where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.”
