The Chase fans were left up in arms after player Amy risked it all with a surprising move after a successful winning streak. During Thursday’s visit (October 16) to the ITV studios, host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new hopefuls onto the teatime show. He introduced Liz, Patrick, David, and Amy to viewers at home before they put their general knowledge to the test.
This week, the quartet faced Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, who certainly brought her A-game. First up to the podium was Li, who dazzled viewers with her impressive general knowledge after raking in £7,000 in her cash-builder round.
But Liz wasn’t fazed by the pro-quizzer and glided her way into the final round and banked her winnings. Hoping to follow in her footsteps, Patrick managed to beat her impressive score after he earned a staggering £8,000 in his cash-builder round.
Like his teammate, he managed to make it through to the final round with ease, bringing their total up to £15,000. Determined to keep the winning streak going, David added a further £5,000 to the jackpot despite a few hairy moments in the head-to-head round.
But things took an unexpected turn when Amy stepped up to the podium. Despite matching her previous player’s cash-builder score, the brunette beauty decided to take the enormous low offer of -£4,000 in order to secure her place in the final round.
