Venezuela Fury was left stunned after her boyfriend dropped to one knee during her 16th birthday party and popped the question. But if the 16-year-old was surprised by the gesture, then mum Paris was even more astonished by Noah Price’s out-of-the-blue proposal.

The mother-of-seven is famous for keeping her cool, but later admitted she was “in shock” at the engagement. However, now the dust has settled, sources exclusively tell OK! that Paris is already looking forward to planning a lavish, no-expense-spared wedding.

“Paris was shocked when the engagement happened, but she’s delighted and is really going for it when it comes to the wedding,” says our insider. “They’re throwing everything at it. They don’t do things by halves and family is everything to them.”

Despite Venezuela’s age, mum Paris, 35, and dad, Tyson, 37, are said to be unfazed by the prospect of their eldest daughter tying the knot. Marrying young is common practice within the traveller community and Paris herself was just 19 when she wed 21-year-old Tyson back in 2008. And as fans of the family’s hit Netflix reality show, At Home With The Furys, will know, Paris and her clan don’t really ‘do’ understated.

“Paris wants to show what a party she can put on,” says our source. “It’s going to be the biggest event and they don’t care what other people say. They don’t care if people think it’s overdone, or it’s tacky, or that they’ve spent too much money. She wants to have the best and the biggest knees-up with as much glitz and glamour as possible.”

Legally, Venezuela and Noah can’t tie the knot until she turns 18, but our insider suggests the couple won’t wait long. “They’re from the traveller community and it’s just how they do things – they’re encouraged to marry young and to stay with the same man and look after him, just as Paris has done with Tyson,” says our source.

“That’s how she [Paris] was brought up and she met Tyson when she was young herself. It’s the family and cultural tradition. They don’t care what people say – as long as Venezuela is happy, they’re happy.”

Paris has previously spoken about her hopes for her eldest daughter’s future. “I want her to do whatever makes her happy,” she said in 2023. “If Venezuela wants to have a business career, then I’d be proud of her for that.” Tellingly, she added, “If she wants to have a partner in life and marry young, I’d support that too.”

Little is known about up-and-coming boxer Noah’s background, although he is believed to be a little older than his new fiancée, who has 212k Instagram followers and a burgeoning social media career. The outspoken teen was a hit with viewers when At Home With The Furys first launched two years ago, with fans lapping up her fiery exchanges with mum Paris.

In one heated moment, when asked about her career plans, she memorably said she just wanted to “sit at home”, adding, “Being deadly serious now, I don’t have a plan. I don’t want to do anything, from the bottom of my heart.” During another spat, Paris branded her daughter “a privileged little brat” after she confessed she planned to “sponge off” the family’s fortune.

Venezuela, who still lives at her parents’ £1.7million mansion in Morecambe, Lancs, has also crossed swords with her heavyweight boxer father after he banned her from wearing short skirts, OTT makeup and false eyelashes. “Strict parents raise sneaky kids,” she famously said.

Opening up about the challenges of parenting, Paris previously told OK! magazine, “Nobody’s got the perfect answer to parenting. I can only do things the way I do it and it’s working for us.”

After Venezuela’s engagement video went viral, fans were divided, with many claiming she was too young to settle down. But her devoted dad appeared to endorse her happy news – and clap back at the critics – sharing a clip about how marriage convention has changed in recent decades.

“50 years ago people got married at 18 and stayed together until death. Today people wait until 30 to get married and divorce within three years,” said the video’s voiceover.

In fact, Venezuela seems to be very much following in her parents’ footsteps. They first met when Paris was 15 and Tyson was 17 at a mutual friend’s wedding and began dating a year later.

They officially tied the knot in 2008 at St. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. And they renewed their vows twice since, in April 2013 in New York, and then again in August this year, in the South of France.

Opening up about the secrets to their 16-year-marriage, Paris – who has three daughters and four sons with her husband – believes getting hitched young has been a key ingredient of their success.

“We met young and we fell in love, which is really cringey and I hate saying it, but I think that’s what really helps,” she said. “If my mum saw us argue, she’d say, ‘You’ll sort it out because you love one another.’

“The fact we chat to each other is important. I’ll listen to him talk about anything, even if it’s things I don’t like. And he listens to my crap. Just knowing that you have each other’s back through thick and thin is so important. I don’t have a doubt in my brain that if I need him, he’s there.”

Let’s hope Venezuela and Noah form an equally strong bond.
