Patrick Mahomes is a damn good quarterback. He doesn’t boast an incredible physique or a six-pack. He can throw a football exactly where it needs to go and has won three Super Bowls, thanks to said ability.

The Kansas City Chiefs star went viral for his “dad bod” after cameras exposed him in the team’s locker room a few seasons ago. And it doesn’t seem like that motivated him to do any work on his stomach, as he’s taking it easy again this offseason.

Mahomes recently appeared in a photo on a golf course with his family and looked a bit rounder in the torso area.

“Uh Oh: Patrick Mahomes is going viral as fans claim he looks “severely out of shape” at a recent golfing event,” Dov Kleiman tweeted.

While Mahomes did appear to have let himself go a tad, fans did not agree that he was out of shape, and they didn’t buy that Dov was quoting anyone either.

“Like it or not that is what peak male performance looks like,” one claimed.

“He don’t gotta be jacked to play QB lol,” someone pointed out.

“When has he ever looked IN shape!? Lol,” someone else asked.

“How many super bowl rings do those fans have?” a user inquired.

“Probably from severely out of shape people 😂 it’s only May, he’ll be just fine,” another user suggested.

It doesn’t matter how he looks now; Mahomes will be ready to do whatever’s required after his break ends. He will be especially keen on returning to the Super Bowl after falling short to the Philadelphia Eagles in February.
