‘ANOTHER CHEAP TRICK’: Emmerdale fans furious over Charity Dingle storyline TWIST ANNOUNCED

During tonight’s hour-long instalment of Emmerdale, Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) took comfort in the arms of her ex-lover Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) with a meaningful kiss as the episode ended.
The soap stalwart was drunk and floundering due to her rocky relationship with husband Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and heartbroken about the fact she’d likely lost the baby she was carrying for her grandaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
As emotions were high, she called on Vanessa, who offered to let drunk Charity stay the night. However, Vanessa was taken aback when Charity leaned in for a kiss.
This didn’t stop Vanessa from kissing her back, and it looked as if they had rekindled their romance as their spark was still burning bright.
What will happen now? Will Charity end up filing for divorce from Mack, or will she pretend nothing happened with Vanessa?
Mack is bound to be furious if he finds out about his wife’s passionate moment with her former flame.
Emmerdale fans took to social media with their theories, with one person asking: “Who do you want Charity with? Mack or Vanessa?”
A second fan added: “Vanessa starts the episode talking to Manpreet about not getting laid and then ends the episode with Charity asking to go to bed with her and kissing her. I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!”
Another fumed: “People flipping over Vanity but fail to realise that Charity and Mack are fine again next week! Vanity is so f**king vanilla, they bore the absolute living p**s out of me!”

A fourth added: “I love Vanity but I don’t want it if it means Charity is going to be cheating. I hated the way they split up and I’m going to hate it if this is the way they are possibly getting back together. No thanks. Hard pass.”
A fifth penned: “I don’t like Mack either, but I’m not here for another cheap cheating storyline.”
