4 big Coronation Street spoilers: Theo’s abuse escalates and Lisa makes confession

In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Todd Grimshaw’s relationship with Theo Silverton takes a sinister turn. Will he finally stand up for himself? As next week begins, Theo convinces Todd to stay hidden in the flat for a few days so that people won’t see his injuries and jump to conclusions – despite being the one who inflicted them.

Todd reluctantly agrees, and when Summer Spellman mentions that Todd has cancelled plans with her because he’s supposedly in London, Theo plays along. However, Todd is actually alone in the flat, and when he peeks out of the window and sees someone looking up, he quickly hides. But it’s too late, as Summer later spots Theo in the pub and tells him she saw someone in the flat, assuming it was a burglar. Left with no other option, Theo says he’ll investigate, but when Gary Windass and Ben Driscoll insist on accompanying him, will Theo’s lies be revealed?

Lisa’s confession

Elsewhere on the street, Lisa Swain confesses to Carla Connor that despite Carla’s assumptions, it’s her Lisa wants to be with.

But will Carla reconsider her decision to end their relationship? In the meantime, with DI Costello still hospitalised, Lisa informs her ex-wife, Becky Swain, that they might have located the lad who assaulted the head of Weatherfield’s CID, known as Soap.

Becky feigns ignorance about him, before meeting with Soap to collect Costello’s burner and personal phone. As he hands them over, they hear police sirens approaching.

Will’s left heartbroken

Elsewhere, Will Driscoll grins as he reads a text from Megan stating that she’s applied for a job at Weatherfield High. At the Rovers, Megan tells Daniel Osbourne that she’s received an email confirming her interview.

He’s thrilled and shyly asks her out, overjoyed when Megan accepts. But as Will seethes, will he reveal their secret?

Later, Liam Connor probes Will about his life in Hull and whether he has a girlfriend. Will takes umbrage at this, and Liam’s mother, Maria Windass, is appalled to see Will confronting her son.

In a dramatic turn of events at the Rovers, Megan concludes a phone call with the news that she’s landed a job at the local school. As Daniel plants a passionate kiss on her lips, a heartbroken Will is left to witness their affection.

Dee-Dee put an end to relationship

Meanwhile, things aren’t looking up for Will’s brother, Ollie either. When he proposes they spend Christmas Day together, Dee-Dee hesitates to agree, leaving him disappointed. By the end of the week, Ollie discloses that Dee-Dee has ended their relationship, prompting his grandmother Maggie to offer her intervention. However, it appears there’s more to the tale as Dee-Dee shares some significant news with Alya.
