Victoria learnt the truth about John and Aidan in Emmerdale

After meeting up with one of John’s old army buddies, hoping he might agree to attend the stag do, Victoria was shocked to learn Aidan is still alive.

Connor, who knew both John and Aidan in Afghanistan, explained that Aidan isn’t d3ad after all — but is in fact in a coma in Hotten General Hospital.

As if that wasn’t enough of a shock or Victoria, Connor also dropped another big bombshell. John and Aidan were engaged!

John forced to admit the truth about Aidan in Emmerdale

Reeling from his discoveries, Victoria headed to the hospital to see Aidan for herself. Though she made it to his hospital room, she panicked and left.

Seeing Aidan Moore was enough to confirm to Victoria that John had been lying to her.

Later, she confronted him, explaining that she’d met up with Connor, who’d told her the truth.

John to k!ll again?

Fans have recently learnt that John appears to be suffering from hero syndrome. He’s constantly putting others in the village into dangerous situations, in the hopes of saving them and being painted as the hero.

It seems that this went wrong with Nate, who ended up d3ad as a result — could John be about to k!ll for a second time? Fans seem to think so.

Taking to social media, one fan said: “John’s ex Aidan will wake up and expose John”, with another suggesting: “I bet Aidan is going to wake up just before the wedding. Will John k!ll again?”

“Aidan is definitely gatecrashing John and Aaron’s wedding,” predicted a third. 

A fourth added: “He’ll wake up, and as it looks like some big revelation comes out, John will k!ll him.”

If Aidan woke up, and looked set to expose him once and for all, would he stop him before Aaron can learn the truth?

With the wedding now fast approaching, only time will tell how far John will go to protect his relationship…
