Chef Anne Burrell’s devastating d3ath at the age of 55 on Tuesday has invoked much sadness among her fans and peers.

Anne is one of the most recognizable faces as the culinary expert’s intricately styled bright blonde hair, and huge smile made her a superstar on the Food Network. The TV personality always seemed to radiate positive energy, on and off-screen. Before her untimely passing, Anne took to her Instagram page to share a photo of herself wearing her signature smile.

 

Almost a week before d3ath, Anne posted selfie of her with New York icon and internet sensation, the Green Lady of Brooklyn.

 

Both women were smiling as Anne seemed to lean into the self-proclaimed Green Lady while they were posing for the camera on sunny street in the chef’s neighborhood.

“I ran into @greenladyofbrooklyn in my neighborhood today!!” Anne captioned. “I’m not going to lie- I have been keeping an eye out for her. I may or may not have followed her down the street for a minute. She is just lovely!!! #ilovewhatido #luckygirl.”

Around the time of the post, the Green Lady of Brooklyn commented: “Hi Ann it was so much fun meeting you see you again soon in the neighborhood the only thing I make is coffee and fig preserves from my fig tree love and hugs. Elizabeth.”

With Anne’s last Instagram post being of her with green-laden influencer, countless are taking to the comment section to mourn Anne.

“This can’t be true. Chef Anne you were vivacious, hilarious, full of life and reminded me of my Mom. I’m so so sorry. Rest with the Angels in Heaven and cook up a storm for us [heart emojis],” one Instagram user shared.

 

A second remarked: “Rip Anne. You brought so much light to Food Network. Worst Cooks is still one of my favorite shows,” and another noted, “Not Chef Anne! You were only 55.”

Anne d!ed on Tuesday morning in her home in Brooklyn, New York. According to TMZ, EMS personnel got a call that a woman was in need of assistance after Anne was found unresponsive.

As of now, the cause of her d3ath has not been revealed, but an autopsy is set to be conducted.
