Coronation Street aired the return of a major villain in tonight’s episode.
Viewers saw Logan Radcliffe back on their screens tonight (13 June), with Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton paying the convicted murderer a visit in prison.
Betsy hoped to get answers from Logan about her late mum Becky’s death, with Lauren joining her for emotional support, but the visit proved to be unsuccessful.
Logan was surprised to see the two girls waiting for him during visiting hours and was all smiles as he approached.
Betsy initially struggled to look and talk to Logan, still devastated over her late friend Mason’s death at the hands of his brother. But when Logan started getting impatient, Betsy explained the real reason behind her visit.

ITV
Betsy told Logan that she wanted him to tell her about her mother Becky’s death, with him being there when she was called in by the corruption team and around the time of her death.
A cocky Logan replied that he had secret information to share but that he would only tell Betsy the truth if she gave him a sizeable amount of money.
A teary Betsy agreed to give him money from her trust fund to get answers and Logan seemed pleased, wanting her to up her financial offer.

But as the two talked about money, Logan finally let his act drop and laughed at Betsy, claiming she could never get him the money and that he’d actually lied about having information.
An angry and upset Betsy swiftly left with Lauren, but not before telling him to “rot in hell”.
Betsy’s mum Lisa and girlfriend Carla meanwhile had learned the truth about Betsy’s whereabouts after a tip off from Steve Macdonald and Betsy returned home to face the music.

Betsy told Lisa that she visited Logan to get the truth about her other mum Becky, after finding Lisa’s letter that she hid from her.
After telling Lisa that she offered Logan money, a sad Lisa revealed the whole truth to Betsy, confirming that Becky’s corruption allegations were false and that the only reason she didn’t show Betsy the letter was to stop her daughter from going through what she went through.
Lisa and Betsy eventually reconciled, promising no more secrets in their relationship and Lisa saw it as an opportunity to reveal her plans to buy a house with Carla.
Betsy was delighted by the idea and even agreed to help Carla pick out potential houses.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
