FOX NFL star Rob Gronkowski has responded to rumors regarding him returning to the league.
Reports surfaced earlier in the week that Gronk was considering leaving Fox NFL Sunday to return to football.

On Tuesday, DenverSports.com’s Cecil Lammey reported that Gronk “is considering a return to the NFL.”
“League sources tell me 4X Super Bowl champion TE Rob Gronkowski is considering a return to the NFL,” Lammey wrote on X.
“He worked with Sean Payton at Fox & I’m told he loves Denver & QB Bo Nix. (2 of his brothers, Dan and Chris, had short stints with the team).”
However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up regarding Gronk’s return to the NFL.
He has responded to these rumors and has killed any chance of him getting back on a football field.
“Crazy bro,” Gronkowski told Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz.
“They must know something about me that I don’t.
“I wish I still had those powers, because that would be cool if I did.”
Gronk retired from the NFL at a young age, only playing through his age-32 season.
He originally retired after the 2018 season at just 29 years old, but returned in 2020 to play with Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gronk is the same age as Travis Kelce, who just finished his 12th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, so he certainly missed out on some extra playing time in his career.
However, he dealt with some major injuries throughout his career including major back surgery.
Despite reports that Gronk was working out in Vail, Colorado getting ready for an NFL comeback, it seems he is more interested in staying relaxed.
“I was just in Australia for a few days,” he told Schultz.
“Now it’s time to relax a little. No football.”
NFL important dates 2025 season
March 12 – Free Agency begins
April 24-26 – NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin
September 4 – 2025 season opener (TBC vs Eagles)
November 27 – Thanksgiving Day triple header
January 4, 2026 – End of regular-season
February 8, 2026 – Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
That means Gronk will continue to be on the cast of Fox NFL Sunday for the future.
However, his costar Charissa Thompson might not be returning after her contract expires this summer.
“I just have to say one thing, and this is also what I am going on and on about Fox, and I swear. I mean it’s not just because my contract’s up,” she said.
“I love Fox so much because my brother and my dad came to the Super Bowl, and Fox’s family to me, so my own family like sharing in those moments.
“It was so fun and Fox just makes them feel so welcome and makes sure they’re included in the events and everything.
“So I just would be remiss if I didn’t mention how wonderful my extended work family is to my own family.”
Erin Andrews’ contract is also expiring this year.
