Joe Rogan Shares His Worries About Terence Crawford Facing Canelo Alvarez

When news broke about Alvarez potentially facing Crawford, Rogan weighed in on the fight during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with comedian Brian Simpson. Rogan discussed Canelo’s power and size, noting that it could create problems for Crawford. Famous Podcaster added that he hoped Crawford would be able to withstand Canelo’s strength, highlighting how hard the Mexican fighter hits.
He said, “I just hope he’s big enough. I hope he’s big enough to keep that dude off him because Canelo hits so hard man… And I think he’s that good, he’s just so skillful, he’s so slick and he’s also the best guy in the sport at switch-hitting. He’ll go from southpaw to orthodox and be just as good.”
Both Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are undoubtedly among the best boxers of this generation, making it tough to pick who stands out as the greatest. Canelo has already proven himself as one of the hardest hitters in the sport, but it’ll be interesting to see if Crawford, ranked pound-for-pound number two, can take and deliver that same level of power in the ring.

Crawford, the WBA super welterweight champ, has been eyeing a move up in weight to face the super middleweight king, Saul Alvarez. Recent reports suggest the two might finally meet, with talks confirming a potential megafight. Canelo and Crawford are set to headline a major Riyadh Season event, with the fight expected to land in Las Vegas this fall.
Before the big showdown, Canelo will reportedly fight on May 3 at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, likely a warm-up match before facing Crawford. Fans are already buzzing as the boxing world prepares for this highly anticipated clash.
