ORGANISERS of an LGBTQ+ Pride event slammed Katie Price for pulling out of her performance with just hours to go.
The former glamour model, 47, was due to headline the official afterparty for the Milton Keynes Pride Festival, but blamed her filming schedule and recording of her new single as the reason for her no-show.

Katie, who recently revealed she was undergoing tests amid cancer fears, posted a brief video on her Instagram apologising for cancelling so close to the show.
Sitting in the back seat of a moving vehicle, Katie said she would be back the following year, but organisers of MK Pride were not impressed and issued a scathing statement.
It posted the statement to its social media saying Katie had been “booked and promoted” for the official afterparty which was a fundraising event as MK Pride was a non-profit entity.
“Despite repeated attempts of contact to fulfil this agreement, her management has confirmed she will not be honouring her booking,” the statement read.

“This decision was made at short notice and is entirely outside of our control.”
The statement continued saying MK Pride wanted to be transparent to its community and that while the LGBTQ+ community has “consistently supported” Katie, “it is deeply regrettable that this support has not been reciprocated.”
“Choosing not to meet her obligations to a charitable Pride event demonstrates a lack of accountability and professionalism, and we share in the community’s disappointment,” the statement continued.
Organisers vowed to find a replacement for Katie and offered refunds for anyone who had changed their minds about the afterparty.
“Despite this situation being entirely outside of our control, Milton Keynes Pride remains, as always, fully committed to delivering an inclusive, safe, and unforgettable celebration for our community,” the statement concluded.
Katie has a history of performing at Pride events, but also pulling out last minute.
