Presenter’s life flashed before his eyes after Mike Tyson made chilling five-word ‘kill’ comment on live TV

Mike Tyson stunned the Fox host with his comment.

A presenter’s life flashed before his eyes after Mike Tyson delivered a chilling five-word ‘kill’ claim during an intense sit-down interview.

Boxing icon Tyson joined Tucker Carlson on Fox News to share how he got into the zone every time he stepped in the ring before a fight.

In an interview that aired back in December 2022, ‘Iron’ Mike made the Fox host react nervously as he described his mindset before and during bouts.

“I wanted to kill them,” exclaimed Tyson, who looked his interviewer in the face.

His comment stunned Carlson, who laughed awkwardly and replied: “Well, I can tell!

“I’m laughing nervously,” he added, before following up by asking if Tyson ‘really felt that way’.

A stone-faced Tyson replied: “Yeah.”

Carlson continued to quiz the former world heavyweight champion by asking him how he came to have that frame of mind.

“Just think about who I am. I don’t want to go back there no more. I don’t want to be in that poverty state of mind anymore. Not from a physical perspective; I don’t want to be poverty-stricken here,” he explained.

Carlson questioned: “So, would you sit and think about it before a fight – think about the guy you were fighting?”

Tyson said: “Absolutely. The more you hurt them, the higher you go in life. That’s just my mentality: the more you hurt them, the more people love you.”

Carlson reacted: “That’s pretty intense. And true, I guess.”

Tyson enjoyed a stellar professional boxing career and had an equally legendary mindset that saw him defeat many of his opponents before stepping foot inside in the ring.

At the age of 20, he became the youngest world heavyweight champion, capturing the WBC title against Trevor Berbick back in November 1986.

He has won 50 fights in his career and recently fought Jake Paul.
