Sunday Night Football’s Carrie Underwood has become public enemy number one in 2025 because of her latest decision involving Donald Trump.

A lot of Hollywood and celebrity A-listers tried their best to stop Donald Trump from returning to the White House, but it ultimately did not work out in their favor.

Unlike back in 2017, however, there are early signs that celebrities may be willing to warm up to President-elect Trump as he embarks on his second term.

Country music star Carrie Underwood made headlines after she agreed to perform “America the Beautiful” at Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

Country music star Jason Aldean, the popular ’70s disco group Village People, Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, and the Rascal Flatts are other performers who plan on performing.

Underwood, the new judge on “American Idol,” has been receiving an incredible amount of backlash online. She has been described as a traitor.

“Carrie underwood is another traitor supporting a insurrectionist traitor, DIRTY DIAPER DON PUTIN’S PUPPET will never e .y president, he’s the biggest mistake in America’s history,” one fan said.

“Wow! I wake up on Sunday morning to learn Snoop Dog & Nelly have succumb to Trumps carnage across our country. After Carrie Underwood, other stars & Social Media CEOs. I’d he paying them, bribing them or literally threatening their lives? WE NEED 2 KNOW what this TRAITOR is doing,” a third person added.

Will Carrie Underwood Performing For Trump Hurt Her Career?

Everyone is still reeling at the news that Underwood will be singing at Trump’s inauguration.

The American Idol winner received so much backlash that she released a statement explaining her decision.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood told People. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

To say that some of her fans are disappointed would be a massive understatement.

Ryan Caldwell, the Philadelphia Eagles fan who went viral for cruelly verbally abusing Green Bay Packers fan Ally Keller during Sunday’s Wild Card Round game, has broken his silence on the incident.

Keller attended the game at Lincoln Financial Field with her fiancé, Alexander Basara. The latter shared a viral video of Ryan Caldwell verbally abusing Keller and using derogatory language towards her.

The Eagles have since announced that Caldwell has received a lifetime ban from home games. He was also fired from his job as a project manager at the BCT Partners consulting firm.

Speaking to Jenna Lemoncelli of the New York Post, Ryan Caldwell expressed remorse for his actions and apologized to Keller. He also claims that the video shared by Basara doesn’t provide the entire “context” of their verbal altercation:

“While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, an incident occurred that I deeply regret. What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.

I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words, and to my wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended.

That said, there are two sides to every story. The video clip circulating online does not reflect the full context of what transpired, and my actions were not without provocation. I will live with this experience, and I am certainly paying a personal price. For those who don’t know me, this incident does not reflect my values or the respect I have for others and is not indicative of the person I am.”
