“He still proceeded to harrass and belittle me”: Dwight Howard’s ex Royce Reed launches attack as she goes on public with GoFundMe to fight lawsuit

Over the past 15 years, Dwight Howard has had a public back-and-forth with his ex Royce Reed. A new chapter has been added as the mother of his first child has launched a GoFundMe to combat the former NBA big man.
In the description of the GoFundMe, Reed describes what it has been like since she and Howard welcomed a child into the world. She accused the former All-Star of depleting her assets and costing her opportunities over the years.
According to Reed, Dwight Howard has put together a new lawsuit against her. That is why she’s gone to the public in hopes of securing the financial capital to fight the case.
“After this man took everything from us (my savings, my mother’s savings and my dignity) he still proceeded to harrass and belittle me,” Reed wrote.

“I am now being threatened with yet ANOTHER LAWSUIT because they want to take away my voice again and silence me.”
Reed also posted the GoFundMe on her Instagram story in hopes of securing donations. At the time this is being written, she’s already secured $3,200 of her $10,000 goal.

Reed is a social media influencer who has also appeared on reality TV. She is most known for popping up in the hit show “Basketball Wives.”
This public unveiling from Reed comes on the heels of Howard announcing his engagement to Amy Luciani.
Dwight Howard sends cease and desist to ex Royce Reed
The lawsuit Royce Reed is referring to in her GoFundMe likely stems from her recent actions on social media. Over the past week, she has been airing out her relationship with Dwight Howard over a series of posts on social media.
Reed put together a nine-part series on Instagram titled “I had a baby with Superman.” As expected, it did not take long for people to put together that she was referring to the former LA Lakers big man. At points, Reed even goes on to call Howard by name.
In the posts, Reed timelines her dealings with Howard and goes in-depth on how things unfolded from her point of view. Shortly after her last upload, Dwight Howard decided to take legal action. Over the weekend, Reed posted a cease and desist letter from his council. The letter cites that the “malicious and potentially libelous statements” could have a negative impact on Howard down the line.
Reed has decided not to remove the nine-part series from her Instagram, so it appears she plans to fight this latest case.
