Taylor Swift came to Cynthia Erivo‘s rescue during the 2025 Grammy Awards after the Wicked star reportedly couldn’t find her seat.

Swift, who was nominated for six Grammys on Sunday night, seemed to spot Erivo looking lost in the crowd and waved her over to sit next to her.

In a video of the moment, which was captured and posted on X by @tayvisnation, The Shake It Off singer extends her arm out to say hi to Erivo, who is wandering around the venue.

She then pats her seat and invites Erivo to sit next to her, which the Wicked star does.

With the two then sharing a seat, Swift pulled her in for a sweet hug.

During the awards ceremony, the two were seen sitting next to one another as the cameras panned around to them multiple times.

It seems like Swift could have been stepping in for Erivo’s bestie, Wicked costar Ariana Grande, who did not attend the Grammys.

However, the new duo seemed to be a hit with social media users, as many on X wrote about how nice Swift’s gesture was.

Before Swift took the stage to present Best Country Album award to Beyoncé, she stunned on the red carpet in a short, red Vivienne Westwood dress.

The frock featured a draped, one-shoulder detailing and corset at the bodice.

She even added a ruby-red chain with a red ‘T’ on her thigh, which was designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

The chain may have been a nod to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who wasn’t by her side during the awards.

Next weekend, he will play The Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans at the Super Bowl.
