10 YEARS IN… AND HERE’S WHAT I’VE NEVER SAID OUT LOUD: Emmerdale’s Laura Norton posts a HEARTFELT TRIBUTE to fiancé and co-star Mark Jordon

Emmerdale’s Laura Norton has shared a heartfelt tribute to her co-star fiancé.
The actress joined the long-running ITV soap in 2012, arriving in the Dales as Kerry Wyatt: mother to Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson). She quickly established herself as a beloved character amongst viewers.
Her storylines have been central to numerous major plots. From her bond with daughter Amy to her surprising romantic entanglements, her journey in the iconic village has been packed with dramatic moments.
This year proved particularly intense when Kerry was caught up in a devastating limo accident in February, which claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and heartbreakingly, her daughter Amy.
Beyond the soap opera, Laura is currently betrothed to fellow actor Mark Jordon. The performer is widely recognised for his portrayal of PC Phil Bellamy in Heartbeat, as well as his appearances on Emmerdale, reports the Daily Star..

Mark brought Daz Spencer to life in 2014 and returned to the role from 2017 to 2019. Laura and Mark’s romance blossomed on the ITV set, leading to their engagement in late 2018. The couple welcomed son Jesse in January 2021, followed by daughter Ronnie.
Laura recently honoured her partner through an affectionate Instagram post. The television personality uploaded a photograph from a romantic seaside excursion, showing Mark admiring the stunning coastal scenery.
She captioned the image: “This day 6 years ago. Feels like another lifetime. forever @markjordondad.”
Fans and fellow cast members were quick to express their admiration for the devoted pair. In the comments section, Vanessa Woodfield actress Michelle Hardwick posted two love heart emojis. Another follower added three love heart face emojis.
During a past chat with Inside Soap, Laura reflected on her relationship with Mark and reminisced about their first encounter. She revealed: “Mark came in as Dan’s brother Daz in 2014, initially for a short stint.
“We kept in touch as friends and grew closer – and we never looked back. If you’d have said when we first met that in a few years we would be a couple and have a baby, I would’ve said ‘excuse me?'”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
